Everything I love must die,
and that is nothing strange coming from me.
Everything I hate makes me smile,
it looks so much like what I used to be.
And however much I have tried to change,
laziness is stronger.
It is so easy to cry and blame
bad luck, fatality.
It is not me, it is everyone else.
Nothing written on this sheet of paper
is a compelling reason not to believe
that however much I try to fix it,
everything will turn out terribly for me.
It is curious how easily
we deceive ourselves to avoid
facing what is true:
it is me, not everyone else.
