Jason y tú Jason and You

Es media noche, hoy no dormirás,
la televisión no da para más,
algo habrá que hacer y no sabes qué.
y te invitó a desayunar,
decidiste pasar, te dio no sé qué.

It is midnight, you will not sleep tonight,
television has nothing more to offer,
something must be done, and you do not know what.
Your imagination, out of control,
is going to betray you, and you do not care,
he has come to see you; you already know who.
Jason and you do not know it yet,
but you are going to like each other, and he
will finally be able to talk to someone his own age.
The conversation in your room
was no more than a little trivial,
but now you know each other, you will have fun.
His mother called to see how things were
and invited you to breakfast,
you decided not to go; something felt wrong.
Jason and you, so many things in common,
what a lovely friendship! and he
will know it is not bad to have someone to play with.
“Do not let her escape, Mom,
do not let her live.”
“Jason, I will kill her.”
A whole summer spent learning to swim
was no use, and in the end he drowned,
but someone will have to pay.
The fact is, his mother took
that act of carelessness very badly.
Jason and you do not know it yet,
but you are going to like each other, and he
will finally be able to play.
